Hello. I’m Josh Bernard, co-founder and Title Agent here at Titletown of America. I’ve been in the real estate title business since 2007 when I started doing property closings at my family’s law firm. When my brother and I decided to spin-off our closing/title work into a separate business while still maintaining a close relationship with the family law firm, we saw a great opportunity to grow that busy portion of our business and better serve our clients.
I grew up in the Jacksonville area and attended Wolfson High School. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and graduate degree in International Business from Strayer University. I learned the title business through hands-on experience working with my attorney father who specializes in real estate law. While I love what I do at work, I’m also a devoted father to a step-son and two daughters along with my wife of five years and enjoy my family time with them.
What do I enjoy most about this business and why do our clients like working with us? I believe what separates us from other closing/title companies is our personalized service. I especially enjoy working one-on-one with first time home buyers and helping guide them through the unfamiliar closing process. For most people, buying a home is the largest purchase they will make in their lifetime. The closing process can be an intimidating experience to say the least. My team and I strive to make that experience as worry free as possible by working closely with the buyer, seller, realtor and lender to ensure the closing process is completed as smoothly as possible.
